Kids

1. You spend the first two years of their life teaching them to walk and talk. Then you spend the next sixteen telling them to sit down and shut up.

2. Grandchildren are God’s reward for not killing your own children.

3. Mothers of teens now know “why” some animals eat their young.

4. Children seldom miss quote you. In fact, they usually repeat word for word what you shouldn’t have said.

5. The main purpose of holding children’s parties is to remind yourself that there “are” children more awful than your own.

6. We child proof our homes … but they are still getting in !

Advice for the Day !

Be nice to your kids
” They ” will choose your nursing home …
And finally …
If you have a lot of tension and you get headaches too

ARM CEO hints at possible Windows 7 support for ARM processors

ARM CEO intends to support Windows

ARM based processors, which so far was used mainly in mobile phones and similar small devices now might be seen in netbooks section also. ARM has partnered Canonical to enable them in bringing full-fledged Ubuntu OS for their upcoming ARMv7 processor architecture. Going by the rumours, OLPC could well incorporate ARM based solution in their next generation XO-2. However, the problem of Windows OS not supporting the ARM chipset remains.

Microsoft has long been the sole leader in the PC OS with more than 75% market share and according to recent figures, in the netbook section it stands even higher with 90% reach. Not perturbed by the bleak scenario, ARM CEO, during a recent analyst conference call, seemed all too happy with the possibility of Windows supporting the ARM processors. Without disclosing much, he said that if the Redmond giant has supported the ARM processors, the market scenario would have been different. He further stated, “perhaps there will be support in the future but that’s really for Microsoft to comment.”

It is still a topic of debate whether Microsoft truly intends to support ARM chipsets or the whole bruit is the wishful thoughts of the ARM head. However, rumours have it that the engineers at Redmond have been showcasing Windows XP system running on ARM chipsets.
